Balancing Touch Technique/Aromatherapy Session

Balancing Touch Technique:  A Clinical Application to Essential Oil Application

40 Minute Session

Investment:  $55.00

This technique is a simple, yet effective technique that utilizes eight individual essential oils and essential oil blends that address four systemic constants that most often impair homeostasis.  It is comprised of an extremely light touch sequence to apply the oils and works to restore homeostasis, and minimize the impact of the following factors:

Stress:  Stress refers to the many systemic changes that take place within the body as it responds to challenging situations.  Elevated stress levels, maintained over time, have been shown in clinical studies to cause negative consequences to health.

Toxic Insult:  The body is constantly working to cope with a vast array of toxins that can come from a number of different sources.  Exposure to a wide array of toxic insults, including environmental pollution,  hormone and or pesticide contaminated food products, disease pathogens forces the cells, tissues and systems of the body to work harder to process and eliminate these threats in order to maintain health.

Inflammation:  Inflammation is an immune response that allows the body to contain and fight infection or to repair damaged tissue.  It is characterized by redness swelling, warmth and pain.  While a certain amount of inflammation can be beneficial in fighting disease and healing injuries, chronic inflammation can actually further injure surrounding tissues or cause debilitating pain.

Autonomic Imbalance:  The autonomic nervous system is comprised of nerves that are connected to the muscles, organs, tissues and systems that don’t require constant effort to control.  The autonomic nervous system is divided into two main parts that each have separate, balancing functions.Maintaining a proper balance within the sympathetic and parasympathetic system is important for optimal body function and maintenance.
